I camped to watch.....

Today must have been one of the earliest day I woke up not for any activities but of out of my own accord.

The reason? I camped to watch the eclipse!!!

Sadly, I was camping at home with my brother. So camping may not be a good choice of word at all. So i stayed beside the TV starting from 8 am till about 10am. The most exciting part was of course, when the real thing happened which was around 9.23 like that. The rest of the time, I think I was asleep on my comfortable couch. :) Ok, some pictures of my early and relatively exciting morning.

This is what you see in Singapore...

and what you get to see in China.

What a difference. The next time a solar eclipse can last for that long, I will make sure I'm at the right country watching it. :)

Back again after so long.

I realised I haven't blogged a single entry for an exact two months or so. HAHA... if you have been waiting for an entry from me, here it comes. :) Maybe I should list down the things I have engaged in while I'm away from this blog.

1) I had to bid farewell to two friends and I just sent one of them off today. They are Shu Han and Kwan Ling. One to Germany and one to Australia to pursue what they think is best for them. It's a 10 month German Language course for Han and Zoology for Kwan. Interesting girls. They are so independent, I guess they will do just fine. If you two are reading this, we must keep in contact ya.

2) I'm back to dancing again. That's like after about 5 to 6 months of stopping dance. Was quite slow in getting the steps at first but I guess it's getting better. After all, I really love dancing with them. I wonder if we have decided on our team name as "Twenty ninety eight (2098)". It is a damn random name and don't ask me for the reason why!!!

3) Driving driving and driving. I finally finished my lessons and can book my test date already. I guess it will be on 22 august but the problem now is...... there's no practical lessons slots at all for me to have my revision lessons. What should I do. Somehow I wished I didn't take up driving at all. I wish someone can just drive me all around Singapore. LOL. Yes, it hurts to think about the amount of money thrown into getting that piece of card. Like throwing money into the sea. I hope I can pass first time but lane changing is my weakest spot now. ZZZ.

4) I worked a little to earn more money but I think that's not enough to buy myself a laptop. Nora just showed me the brochure and the really good ones are like $2000 plus plus. I'm thinking of giving private tuition to kids now. Continue giving tuition in UNI on like weekends so that I can have some allowance or pay my hostel fees. Yes, but I know that's probably gonna kill me since my course is rather tough.

OH YA, just a slight note: I will be studying Chemical and Biomedical Engineering in NTU! I have decided to stay in a hostel and my roomie is Michelle Ng. :) I have also decided to go for their CAC (cultural activties club) camp and hopefully they let me go. HAHA. That's almost everything you need to know about my future (as of now).

School is starting real soon and I need to make friends because I don't know anyone in the same course as me. Oh my. Hopefully my classmates(is that how we call uni friends?) are nice people. Bless me please.
